Day 1: Opening Ceremony
Inaugural lunch
Join us for the inaugural lunch on Friday 4th of July at the prestigious Merchant Taylors’ Hall, a hidden gem located in the heart of York The Hall that dates back to the 14th century and is one of the oldest surviving guildhalls in the city. It was once the headquarters of the Merchant Taylors’ Guild, a wealthy organisation of wool merchants and cloth traders, key to the economy of York and England in medieval times. This guild overcame many challenges but remained influential in the city’s economy and culture adapting and thriving over centuries.
