Commute

Travelling to Newcastle by Train

Newcastle is easily accessible by train from London. Several direct train services run every day from London King’s Cross, with the journey lasting around 3 hours. You can also get to Newcastle by train from Edinburgh (Scotland), which takes roughly two hours, or from Manchester in three hours.

Many of these train services require bookings in advance, and you can book these through the Trainline website.

Getting around Newcastle

Despite having many public transport options, including a Metro system, Newcastle is a small city, where it is relatively easy to walk from place to place.

The best routes to the Symposium venue will depend on where you are travelling from, and we recommend that you use Google Maps.
